Working across Scotland and beyond — with a particular commitment to under-represented voices in environmental legal discourse.
WHAT LIVING LAW FUTURES IS
The environmental laws of tomorrow are being shaped today.
The next generation of Earth-system lawyers will practise in a world where Rights of Nature are legally recognised, where biodiversity accountability is a board-level obligation, and where the Environmental Rule of Law is the framework through which institutional decisions are made or challenged. Futures exists to ensure they are ready.
Living Law Futures provides legal mentoring, advocacy and litigation training, and access to the global environmental law expert community — with a particular focus on building pathways for those whose voices are most under-represented in environmental legal discourse. Access to justice begins with access to mentorship and opportunities to engage.
The programme was initiated by Susan D. E. Shaw, Founder and Managing Partner of Living Law® — UN Expert Member (Earth Jurisprudence), IUCN WCEL Member, and environmental lawyer with over two decades of practice at this frontier.
